The workshop begins with a presentation of ongoing research projects and activities at UFABC and the selection of a line of research or project in which students will develop their empirical research. Students then familiarize themselves with the selected research line/project by participating in research group meetings, fieldwork, and, where applicable, laboratory activities. This phase also involves identifying a suitable research topic, developing a research proposal, and designing the research methodology that will guide the research work.
